Valeria Coli, an architecture graduate, was born and lives in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, in Tuscany.
She is a professional photographer. She has attended courses and internships with internationally renowned photographers. She has socio-anthropological reportage to her credit. Amaltea, dedicated to the pastoral agricultural traditions of the Central Apennines, has won national awards and has been exhibited at numerous Italian festivals.
To explore issues related to post-war emigration, she has followed the stories of family groups between Tuscany and England.
She is currently working on issues relating to diversity.

Amaltea, dedicato alle tradizioni agricole pastorali dell’appennino Centrale, ha vinto premi nazionali ed è stato esposto in numerosi festival italiani.
Per approfondire tematiche legate alla emigrazione negli anni del dopoguerra ha seguito le vicende di gruppi familiari fra toscana e Inghilterra.
È al momento impegnata su tematiche che riguardano le diversità.
